Terms of use
Simple rules for using Aumsetu.
1. Who runs Aumsetu
Aumsetu (aumsetu.com) is a personal community initiative by Deepak Singla, an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-76535) based in Mandi Dabwali, Haryana. The platform is not operated by any company for profit — it is a community service.
When these terms refer to “we”, “us”, or “Aumsetu”, they mean this personal initiative and its maintainer.
2. Free forever, non-commercial
Aumsetu does not charge any user, for any feature, at any time. There are no paid tiers, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no advertising slots for sale, and no commissions collected on transactions.
3. Not investment advice
Aumsetu provides calculators, document templates, and a directory of AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributors. It does not provide personalised investment advice, does not recommend specific mutual fund schemes or insurance products, and does not conduct any investment transaction.
All calculator outputs are illustrative projections based on the inputs you provide and the assumed rates of return you specify. They are not guarantees of future returns.
For personalised financial advice, please consult a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser (RIA) or an AMFI-registered MFD directly.
4. How you may use Aumsetu
You may use Aumsetu freely for any lawful purpose, including:
- Running financial calculations for yourself or for clients you serve professionally.
- Generating branded PDFs of these calculations for informational purposes.
- Creating legal document drafts (Will, POA, affidavit, etc.) for personal use or as an MFD serving clients.
- Discovering AMFI-registered MFDs listed in the Circle directory.
- Sharing links to any page on aumsetu.com with your network.
You may not use Aumsetu to:
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute the tools as your own commercial product.
- Impersonate another MFD or misrepresent your credentials.
- Automate mass submissions to the MFD Circle application form.
- Solicit investments or transact securities through this platform (there is no such functionality anyway).
- Upload content that violates any Indian law.
5. MFD Circle terms
The Aumsetu MFD Circle is a free membership program for AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributors. When you apply:
- You confirm that the ARN, name, and contact details you submit are your own and accurate.
- You authorise us to verify these details against the public AMFI portal before approval.
- You accept that we may reject any application at our sole discretion, particularly if AMFI records do not match.
- You retain full responsibility for your professional conduct with your own clients. Aumsetu makes no representation about the quality of your advice or services.
If your ARN status with AMFI is suspended, cancelled, or expires, please notify us so we can update your Circle status. We may proactively remove Circle members whose ARNs are no longer active.
6. Accuracy and warranty
We take reasonable care to keep calculators and templates accurate. However, financial regulations, tax rules, and template requirements change frequently, and computational errors can occur.
Aumsetu is provided “as is”, without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. You are responsible for verifying any calculation or legal document generated here before acting on it. When in doubt, consult a qualified professional (Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Advocate, or SEBI-RIA as relevant).
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Deepak Singla shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Aumsetu, including but not limited to loss of investment returns, loss of business, or loss of reputation.
Since Aumsetu is free and non-commercial, no monetary refund or compensation is available in any circumstance. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the platform.
8. Changes and closure
These terms may be updated as the platform evolves. Material changes will be noted here with a revised effective date. Continued use of Aumsetu after such changes constitutes acceptance.
Aumsetu is a personal initiative. It may be discontinued, paused, or handed over to a different maintainer at any time, with reasonable notice on this website.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Sirsa, Haryana.
